A portable DVD burner can transform the latest notebook or laptop computers into a multimedia powerhouse with the same capabilities as a desktop. If you are traveling from site to site, there should still be plenty of opportunities to plug the burner in to back up your files, or to create the presentations you need.

A portable DVD burner has become increasingly important now that video is playing a much larger part in how computers are used. File sizes are increasing as a result, and although it is cheap and easy to get hold of a very large hard drive to which you can back up your files, even this involves some degree of risk.
